Dear Tash,
My life changed forever when you asked me to hold Gio for the first time. Although, I didn’t understand the significance of this moment until years later. He was a week old and had the euphoric smell of a fresh baby.
I have the deepest gratitude for your creation. You literally made a King that has uplifted so many lives just by the pure nature of his spirit.
I always wished for our family to come together, uplift each other & genuinely be in love with one another. As you know, this used to be so far from the truth. We have shared pain, anger & a whole lotta crazy.
“They” all thought that things would never change.
“They” told me that I better get used to the way things were.
“They” never believed we could be a family.
I am so glad we didn’t listen to “them”!!
Without you the greatest joy in my life wouldn’t exist. Thank you for accepting me, loving me & building a family with me.
Gio motivates me to be the best version of myself. Through your creation, I have learned that I can change the world by changing myself.

You showed me your scars expecting me to run off, but little did you know that I was going to show you mine too. We were closer than we thought.
Gio’s first day of 1st grade was so special to me! You asked me to get Bug on the bus with you & I was so excited. Thank you for accepting me ❤
Even when yo freckles are out & I’ve got the crazy face our mini King is watching our every move. I look forward to a lifetime of motivating each other to teach Gio that the world is his!
