So you’re wondering what it’s like to have a portrait session with me? Well… It’s nothing short of magical!! I have designed the entire portrait experience with you in mind, as a connection with each client is most important to me.

There are four main components to a portrait session with Alexis Emm Photograffi:

1. Creative consultation
2. Camera Time
3. Reveal / Order session
4. Delivery of goods

Creative consultation

We will hang out prior to your session to collaborate ideas & connect with each other as we plan our portrait adventure together. Amidst all the fun we’ll be having, I’ll share tips & info that will help you prepare for your session.

Camera Time

The start time of your portrait session will be right before sunset. The best natural light is during this golden hour.

Full sessions include 1 hour of camera time & mini sessions include 30 minutes of camera time (minis are offered seasonally). We will use our time as efficiently as possible by following the outline we made in our creative consult.

Order / Reveal session

When your session is complete, I will hand select your “proofs”, make a slideshow & create a gallery for you to select your favorite images from. {Typically 1-2 weeks after portrait session | 3-4 weeks after wedding coverage}

Then, we will meet for the reveal of your photos. During this time, you will “Ooo!” & “Awwwwe!” & together we will star your fave photos. Your starred images will be individually processed & bundled up with love into your final online gallery.

Select your favorite images & place your order!

After your favorite images have been selected, you will have the opportunity to showcase your portraits in an heirloom album, canvas wraps, metal prints or mounted prints. Gift prints, high resolution digitals & custom foil pressed cards are all available for purchase as well.
