I live in a multi-generational home. A home where my stepson can hang with his Papa Doodle anytime he wants. Where traveling to a family dinner means walking down the stairs. Our home is filled with wisdom from many generations of life & I love every bit of it!

It only made sense that Papa Doodle (aka my father) would accompany us for our family portraits by Jussara Potter Photography. Jussara met us on location & did an incredible job photographing my stubborn boys.

My stepson & husband don’t like their photo taken (go figure), so I decided that making our portraits at the Great New York State Fair we would be a great idea! I imagined us laughing while we played carnival games & enjoying all the fair has to offer. Our session wasn’t so magical. We played nice for the camera; so nice that Jussara had no idea we were quietly fussing with each other the whole time.

But hey, I still had fun! A bad day with my family, is better than the best day with anyone else. I’ll always cherish these portraits!! Thank you Ju Ju ❤
